The Performing Arts can contribute powerfully to the quality of learning in many areas both in and out of school. For some children, drama, singing and dance  may be the most effective outlet for self expression. For those children participation in these mediums, leads to gains in self-confidence and self-esteem. It also gives children the permission to play… which is a fundamental part of life, development and growing up.

The Performance Factory is a place where children between the ages of 3 and 19, can come and participate in a wide range of performance activities. where they have the freedom to create, individually or as part of a group. To explore characters and world wide issues. To convey narrative, tell stories, look at themes, experience emotions within the context of a play or musical. We will provide the children with a tool kit from which to work.

Our aim is to produce a minimum of two shows a year, a working progress that the children can appreciate as an achieved objective. We aim to give them an end product that they can be proud of and a process that they will remember into adulthood.
