The Performance Factory Award Winning Stage School

‘Guiding and shaping the stars of tomorrow’

The Performing Arts can contribute powerfully to the quality of learning in many areas both in and out of school. For some children, drama, singing and dance may be the most effective outlet for self-expression. For those children participation in these mediums, leads to gains in self-confidence and self-esteem. It also gives children the permission to play - which is a fundamental part of life, development and growing up.

The Performance Factory is a place where children between the ages of 3 and young adulthood, can come and participate in a wide range of performance based activities. Where they have the freedom to create, individually or as part of a group. To explore characters and worldwide issues. To convey narrative, tell stories, look at themes and experience emotions within the context of a play or musical.

We will provide the children with a tool kit of skills, from which to work.
Our aim is to produce a minimum of three shows a year, a working progress that the children can appreciate as an achieved objective. We aim to give them an end product that they can be proud of and a process that they will remember into adulthood.

There is no entry criteria to join TPF, we welcome every type young person, whatever their experience or ability. Many of our students have never participated in any drama, dance or singing classes before likewise others may be experienced in one or all mediums. We welcome all youngsters with passion for performing.

“The Performance Factory Stage School offers equal opportunities for every child to shine and build their confidence. All members of staff are very friendly and approachable and have your child’s best interests at heart. It's a fantastic way for children to make new friends and learn in a fun and friendly atmosphere. In comparison with other stage schools the fees are very reasonable without compromising quality. On the whole our children are always happy returning from the classes and they always look forward to their next class.”

“I love The Performance Factory because it helps me bring out my confidence. I have met new people and made lots of new friends. David has helped me increase my confidence with singing and Linzi has taught me new dance moves and Dean has shown me what I had hidden inside of me. I was all shy before but now I feel better and not afraid to audition for a show. Dean has helped me be a better performer.”
Tyler – TPF student.

“The Performance Factory has had an amazing impact on both my daughters aged 15yrs and 10yrs. The confidence they have gained through all aspects of singing, drama and dance has been amazing. Jasmine (age 15) would never get up to sing in front of an audience and now through the encouragement of the vocal tutor David, Dean and Dance tutors Linzi and Mandy she now performs as if she has done it all her life and with a natural ease. My youngest daughter Tyler would never have auditioned for a part in any production, but this year she has auditioned and landed herself a part in TPF production of Annie. I have even got myself involved by joining the adults dancercise class.”
